👑 Royal Duck SocietyDucks

Rules & Privacy

Play fair, be kind, and keep it fun for everyone on board.

Permanent collecting society

Every design has a shared QR invitation. Many members can collect identical physical ducks; nobody’s claim makes a design unavailable. Your digital collection stays yours even after a physical release. Release counts are self-reported and audited.

Member accounts use a private email for sign-in. Display names and avatars are optional, and profiles start private. Adventure photographs start private; only photographs you choose to make public and moderators approve appear in shared galleries. Never post cabin numbers, precise live locations or personal contact details.

Remove photographs from My Collection and manage visibility from Profile. The rules below apply to the separate optional cruise game.

Game rules

  • Claim one duck by scanning its QR code. One active duck per player per cruise.
  • Never take a duck from a cabin, a crew area or someone else's belongings.
  • Only go to areas open to guests. Don't disturb crew or other guests while playing.
  • Every entry is reviewed by the Game Master before points are added or it appears publicly.
  • Each mission can be completed once. Rejected entries can be tried again except riddles, which allow only one answer attempt.
  • The competition ends November 8 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific. The Game Master's decisions are final.
  • Done playing? Hide your duck somewhere public with its QR code for someone else to find. They can resume where you left off.

What you can post

  • Keep everything family friendly. No rude, hateful or unsafe content.
  • Don't photograph other guests or crew without their permission, and never children other than your own.
  • Only post photos you took yourself.
  • Inappropriate entries are flagged. After 3 flags a player becomes a spectator and can no longer submit.

Privacy

  • We only ask for a nickname. No email, phone number, cabin number or real name is needed — please don't include them.
  • Approved photos, answers, your nickname, team, bio and badges are public on this website, including the sailing archive after the cruise.
  • Entries waiting for review and puzzle answers are never shown publicly.
  • By submitting a photo you agree it can be shown on this website.
  • You can delete any of your posts or your whole account from your dashboard.
  • Questions? Find the Game Master on board.
